I'm Michael Bowley, a British cycling and sports photographer based in NYC. My approach is simple: build real relationships with the teams, athletes, and events I work with. This means going beyond the finish line to capture the quiet moments, the team dynamics, and the personal stories that make cycling so compelling.

By embedding myself with teams over time rather than just showing up on race day, I'm able to create images that feel authentic—the pre-race rituals, the celebrations, the suffering, and everything in between.

I've worked with pro teams such as L39ION of Los Angeles, Human Powered Health, and EF-EasyPost, as well as brands like Rapha, Shimano, and 3T.
